rainbow club

The Rainbow Club is a lifeline to families, children, young teens and adults living with Autism. We support their needs in coping with the world and challenges they face on a daily basis.

Our mission is to ensure that children with autism experience the joy of childhood and reach their full potential in life.  The innovative and unique design of the centre is a holistic community where every aspect of the challenges of ASD is supported.  We provide a coordinated pathway of care and a thriving hub of support for every child and their family from the time they begin at The Centre in early childhood until they reach young adulthood.

The Rainbow Club Model:

•An innovative child-centered community-based model.

•Providing a holistic service to children and young adults aged 2 to 25.

•Providing ASD specific competence training to parents and the professionals that surround the child.

•Providing support, counselling and mentoring to parents and siblings.

dillon quirke memorial trophy

At Fairways Fore Hope 2023, the winning team will be presented with the Dillon Quirke Memorial Trophy.

In August 2022, Tipperary hurler Dillon Quirke passed away at the age of 24 after being taken ill during a game; Quirke was playing for his club Clonoulty Rossmore against Kilruane MacDonaghs at Semple Stadium. Predominantly a left wing-back, Dillon was a rising star in the hurling world and had made several inter-county appearances for the Tipperary senior men's team. Indeed, by the time of his death, he was a regular in the Tipperary team. Dillon is survived by his father Dan, mother Hazel and sisters Shannon and Kellie. Dillon's family intend to set up a foundation in his memory, and do everything in their power to prevent another family from experiencing this tragic loss, and will outline a plan for free player health screening in due course. Fairways Fore Hope 2023 is delighted to be able to support this important cause..

A LUST FOR LIFE

Educate and empower young people through mental health programmes and awareness platforms, to promote their potential and lessen their struggles

A Lust For Life is a multi-award winning Irish mental health charity that uses content, campaigns, and events to facilitate young people to be effective guardians of their own mind. ALFL was founded by Niall Breslin and Paula Mcloughlin as a platform to change how we talk about and treat mental health. Both are still actively involved in the charity as members of the board and as chair (Paula). The Schools programme launched in 2020 with the 5th & 6th class programme, and in 2024 we will reach an exciting milestone - the programme will be available from junior infants right up to 6th class.
